I may have watched it 1000 times by now. Okay well maybe not quite, but definitely watched it a lot. A whole lot. My watch-it-over-and-over-and-never-tire-of-it movie is... Drum roll please...
Dirty Dancing! I hope I got a whole lot of "Yasss!" and not too many eye rolls!
God, Dirty Dancing. Perfection on every level. The era. Patrick Swayze. Jennifer Grey. The dancing. Jeepers the dancing. The music. I take pleasure in watching this movie every. single. time.
It is the right amount of drama and romance without being heavy or overly intense. It's an easy watch. Each scene makes you want more. It is a delicious romance novel played out on the big screen.
I saw this movie when I was still in elementary school. Perhaps I was too young, but I loved it anyway. I remember my friend and I making up dance routines to the soundtrack. That's right I've been watching Dirty Dancing for decades.
